Here's to a new adventure!

When Alex announced that he wanted to start a business, I was terrified and excited at the same time. Though I have total confidence in his abilities, I'm also a little chicken when it comes to money.

Financial instability was always a big fear of mine. I had a hard time understanding how people could live happily with maxed credit cards and no money in their pocket as I always felt best with a safety net to fall back on. We've never been extremely rich but we've always managed to have a bit of cash saved up for that rainy day.

So, as much as I was thrilled to be embarking on this journey with my better half, I still had my concerns. But who am I to deny someone who's given me so much
his dream job? And to be quite honest, I was happy to go along for the ride.

Once recovered from my initial shock, I hopped on my computer to visit my favorite site, Amazon.ca and purchased a stack of books on marketing, accounting, business management, social media promotion, and the list goes on...

The first book I decided to open was Content Building. A book by Ann Handley and c.c.Chapman
On creating blogs, videos, ebooks, etc that grabs the reader's interests. (Reading is still in progress so don't judge me just yet. I'm still practicing...)

So now, here I am, preparing to start a business with my partner in crime and so anxious about it. I feel that this is a special experience so I wanted to document it and maybe share my journey with other aspiring entrepreneurs or get tips from the veterans out there.

Stay tuned for the next episode of In The Life Of An Entrepreneur.
